GuestI am on here a lot and sometimes I post and sometimes I don’t – I’ve put links up to my site but never to anything specific –
I am scoring this movie called Diabolical Tales and it requires one of the biggest scores I’ve done to date –
http://www.boodaphonic.com/diabolical-maintitles.html
it is in Flash format so only need a decent connection – I obviously love Elfman’s work but hope it is enough me and original – figured you all would be able to give me some decent feedback since I definitely can’t tell anymore on it and neither can any of the people that are around me.
Have a lot of other cues up on my site if you get bored or happen to like that one.
Peace
JM

GuestHysterical!!!
Very Cool! Not too thematic, unless that was the theme in itself, then it’s just not very memorable given its length and likeness to old Sci-Fi music. Still, stereotypical as it is, I have no doubt that it is more than appropriate. I have no idea what the project requires of you, but I love creativity in general, so I deliver unto you warm and enthusiastic “Keep up the good work!”
I hope no one minds that you leak your work before it’s debut.

GuestThanks for the good words –
No one minds it getting leaked – been a work in progress from everyone involved –
The movie is like an old Ed Wood film – it is in B&W and straight out of the 50’s so went with the Theremin and the big sound. The Main Titles do not have much of a theme but the rest of the score requires heavy use of themes – there are supposed to be 3 films total so whatever I am writing now ties into events that happen in the 2nd and 3rd ect.
Appreciate the comments – my friend Donnie did the animation for the MT’s and it is on his demo reel on my site in the video section if anyone cares to take a look.

GuestAhh! Now that puts things into perspective. Pretty good work, I’d say.
“Rock On!” or “Compose On!” or Whatever.
