GuestHas anyone noticed that the deleted scenes from the Mask DVD contain bits and pieces from Darkman and Beetlejuice?

GuestYeah, they were used in the temporary music score.
You can also hear BEETLEJUICE in the deleted scenes on the GREMLINS 2 DVD.

GuestSpeaking of Gremlins, I think those people on Kazaa need to get thier head on strait. I went there looking for some non-released Elfman music (Namely Family man), and when I searched for him, one of the biggest things I got where the themes to Gremlins and Gremlins II, both credited to Elfman, even though he didn’t do them.

GuestI have similar stories of looking for Boingo songs and finding Turning Japanese listed as a Boingo song. I really hate it. Although the guitar work reminds me a little of Good for Your Soul.

GuestYeah, I’ve always found “Turning Japanese” listed as a Boingo song, too. Weird…

GuestI’m not surprised that they used elfman for temp tracks in the Mask (I didn’t know, though). But the main theme to the Mask appeales to the same darkness in me as does most of Elfman’s music, so it has long been one of my preferred themes. Unfortunately, the rest of the score (on CD, anyway) is pretty… uh… well…

Guest“The rest of the score …is pretty…uh…well…” not cool, eh? Yeah, someone gave it to me for my birthday a couple of years ago and said, “You like movie songs, right?” *Cringe* Yeah, I LOVE “Tony, Toni, Tone” and other early-mid 90s pop artists *Coughs and looks away* (Although its one redeeming quality is that it has a tune by Brian Setzer)
-E (who likes nearly anything Brian Setzer has done…except for his god-awful performance on the “Christmas at the WHite House” thing. Watching Bush try to bop along with Setzer and his band was the best laugh I’ve had in years! I didn’t know monkeys had rhythm, did you? Oh wait, that’s right, el presidente/ el mono DIDN”T have any rhythm
Woo for THe Stray Cats! Long live rockabilly!)January 17, 2003 at 2:22 am #43784Anonymous
GuestI have decided to change my name in the forum. I just realized that there is another Chris. He started the one listed as “college” and I started this and the one concerning So-Lo. I just wanted to clear that up.
