When Nightmare Before Christmas was released in 3D about a year ago, I remember watching an “Artist On Artist” interview of Danny with Marilyn Manson…
Last night, I just saws two videos of that interview on Youtube, but it wasn’t the same I had seen before. It’s in two parts, and it’s filled with sarcasm, funny nasty little jokes, and it’s quite interesting.
In the interview, Elfman says he had asked to collaborate with Manson in the past and the studios had declined… Do you have any idea what project he’s talking about ?

Well, if you do the math, it was a movie in ’01. Planet of the Apes would be the obvious guess.

I can’t stand Manson the person or his music and POTA is one of my favorites, so I’m glad he had nothing to do with it.
