Not huge news, but Danny’s music from BATMAN RETURNS is featured in the teaser trailer for Disney’s (questionable looking) THE HAUNTED MANSION.

I don’t know. Looks like a pretty faithful adaptation of the ride.
That’s really cool! I’m seeing “Pirates of the Caribbean” soon, and I’ll be able to let all my friends know that Danny Elfman is in da house when the haunted mansion trailer plays beforehand!!!
by the way, is that “batman returns” throughout the entire trailer, or just the first part?
the first part is from “birth of a penguin”, one of my personal favorites, the other part is not elfman and I’m not sure what it’s from
the second part is from Patrick Doyle’s epic score to Kenneth Branagh’s MARY SHELLEY’S FRANKENSTEIN

I was hoping some dark music would be in it… Just like in the ride, with the grinnin’ ghosts theme.
Have you people heard what John Debney has done for the french Haunted Mansion in Disneyland Paris??? It’s called Phantom Manor!!!! It’s just great… It’s very elfman-ish… If only he was the one scoring the movie….Sad, sad… very sad world….

I’ve really been wondering about the supposed Elfman music at Haunted Mansion Holiday. I can’t find anything about it online except for people saying it’s Elfman and whining about it. I have my doubts since I haven’t read anything official and nobody’s put up clips of the new stuff. At least I’ll be moving to LA in the next week or so . . . and I’ll find some time this fall to hear it for myself
mancina aint all that bad, though for this project im not too sure, eh listen to speed, tarzan and twister for sum decent music, he’s alrite but probly not for this movie
I noticed that most of the Batman music Batman returns for most of the Trailer anyway don’t know the other
truly amazing. you would think with the success of disney’s nightmare before christmas/haunted mansion event every year, they would put two and two together. fools!
