GuestDanny’s been listed as composer for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines again. What’s the deal, shouldn’t there be a composer attached to the film by now? Who’s doing it?

GuestMarco Beltrami has already been named I thought (as read in the latest Film Score Monthly)? If you saw it on IMDB it is more than likely wrong – it’s just not a reliable source when it comes to new movies beyond cast and director.

GuestMarco Bealtrami WILL do the music for T3, and that’s or sure.

GuestUnless Beltrami`s score got/get rejected

GuestBeltrami is scoring the film. Unless someone can give details on their source (Bodhi!) then let’s leave this tired rumor alone.

GuestThe internet movie database has him listed again.

GuestRyan, isn’t there a way you can automatically delete any post that mentions the IMDB? I’m joking of course but it would be nice.

GuestYet, the question was about whither or not a composer has been hired to score T3, not the accuracy of IMDB.com.

GuestYou, I or anyone else can submit information to the IMDB, which makes it a less than perfect source for reliable information.
Danny Elfman isn’t scoring TERMINATOR 3.

Guest“Danny Elfman isn’t scoring TERMINATOR 3.”
Did you think I was saying that he is?

Guestmeow! I admire your quest for accuracy on Elfman info. So do a lot of other people. That is why they come here. People hear a rumor, or something that seems like blatant misinformation and they come here to have it cleared up. NOT to be argued with or shot down. Okay, so IMDB isn’t the treasure trove of 100% true movie info. Smile, correct it nicely for those who aren’t the Elfman trivia-gurus, and please move on. I know I’m not the Know-it-all-source of things Elfy, I’m here to gather news. It seems to me (read: just my opinion–take it or leave it) that the tone of this thread has become a little unfriendly. Two or three people can’t hog all the facts and freak out when someone says something that may be wrong. Yes, sometimes you might have to say it more than once before it clears up and goes away. So be it. You’ll make people new to the board uncofortable with posting stuff for fear of being slammed, and some older readers might get tired and go away. That just cuts down on the news circulation (true or false), and nobody hears what they came here for. I rely on ya’ll to keep me posted because I will be the first to admit I don’t know everything about Elf. So smile, keep the noodle-heads like me informed, and PLEASE don’t freak out about the small stuff.
