    Well, just found out that Elfman penned the theme for Fox’s supernatural soap “Point Pleasant”. Haven’t heard it yet or watched the show, but you might be able to sneak a moment from his theme during the flash intro at Fox’s site.

    Anyone watch the show?

    really? IMDB didn’t list his name on there as the theme composer
    i’ll have to check out that show then

    How does he manage to squeeze in so many side projects–and we don’t even know about them until after they have aired? I’m not really interested in shows like that (24 is for me) but I’ll take a look when it’s on next to hear the theme. Just like I did for Desperate Housewives…

    danny is the main reason why i began watching “housewives”
    i just tuned in to listen to the theme, then i got hooked on the show
    “tales from the crypt” is the best tv theme he’s done though. still creeps me out when i listen to it

    I hope someone uploads it for those of us who live abroad and don’t have the chance to see Desperate Housewives, not to mention Point Pleasant! It looks interesting, though, judging form the involvement of Buffy’s Marti Noxon.
    And it’s nice that Danny is kept busy!!

    Well, the lovely D-Bo posted the DH theme ages ago.

    Just do a search under “Desperate Housewives Theme” and you’ll find it here.

    Jeez, it took 10 minutes for the titles to come up! I had to sit through 10 minutes of that crap just to hear some new Danny material! It was worth it though. The music kind of reminds me of a darker, heavier version Jenny’s Theme from Big Fish. Woo, fun seeing Danny’s name stamped on TV! I’ve got it on TiVo until it’s in mp3 form.

    Your time was better spent. This show was a real stinkeroo. I even posted my opinion of it in an away message, to which a Buffy/Angel/Charmed friend of mine scolded me. But I know I was right.

    YOU ROCK! You’ll go down in website history as being the one who provided us with the Point Pleasant theme. Thank goodness I don’t have to sit through that show to hear it anymore.

    I was just insinuating the likelihood of Danny writing the theme in-between the Charlie and Corpse Bride score sessions.
