GuestSome people will hate me for this, but I really need to say this: I’ve just seen the Nick Berg video, and it destroyed me. I’m still shocked. This world has turned into a nightmare. Why can’t we just make and listen to music instead of sawing off each other’s heads? So many human beings had to suffer and die in the most horrible ways in last years. I do not want to live in such a world.
But maybe it’s always been like this and I just haven’t realized until now.I do not want to start a political/religious discussion or something. I just had to tell somebody. Sorry for spamming.

GuestUm, ok….what are you talking about?
“This world has turned into a nightmare.” <--You just realized this? It acually always has been one, which is why I love it. “So many human beings had to suffer and die in the most horrible ways in last years. I do not want to live in such a world. ” <--Again, you never knew about this and again, it has always been this way. I strongly believe that you have total control over what happens to you, and I know everyone is gonna kick my ass but if a person suffers or dies in a bad way, they brought it on themselves through there choises. You are not a product of your environment, but a product of your view. Living in this world which is so full of hate and evil is not all there is to life, and since you are an Elfman fan, you must have a sence of the passion of his music, which so clearly shows us that there is more to life that what we see. Give yourself time, and who knows? Maybe you'll end up loving this horrible, screwed up world as much as I do. Knight (I know the elfman bit was alittle strange but I am just trying to keep this SLIGHTLY about the man on his own board hehe)

GuestJesus Nin, why did you watch that? That’s very high on my do not watch list.

I’m sorry, but I totally disagree. There are good people out there that suffer and die without reason (maybe the very first person Cowboy mentions above?)^^

GuestMm….yes. There are reasons I tend to watch cheesy horror flicks and avoid the news. It’s not that I’m oblivious to the world around me, so much as I know what I’d rather view. For instance, a person getting killed in a movie, is quality–a person getting killed in real life, is not.
And, I’m all for free will–but, the bottom line is, while you have a choice which road to walk down, you don’t always know what’ll be at the end of it. That’s what makes life scary as hell–and fantastic. It’s a double-edged sword, really. (In general, though, I’d say the world sucks–as does life, in general. Always has, always will–you just gotta make the best of it).
