Well, to be honest, I think the only similarities are the melodic shapes (in some parts). As for the harmonies… well, I guess they move similarly, but Danny uses some of his typical sounds, like the diminished 5th going down etc. – this has hardly ever been Fauré-esque, least of all in.
Despite all this, I reckon Fauré could teach a few things to film composers in general (…just not Danny :p)
