I received my copy of Elmer Bernstein’s terrific “Ghostbusters” score on Monday. This is the first time that his music has been made available without all of the studio forced edits. The album is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone who loves Elfman’s ‘supernatural’ scores. But be quick. Varese Sarabande has limited its pressing to 3000 copies.

I also ordered Snow White: A Tale of Terror which I recommend. You can listen to a few of the cues here: http://www.johnottman.com/projects/features/snowwhite/index.html
I bought them both at: http://buysoundtrax.com

Thanks for the heads up, I love Bernstein’s music. One of my faves is THE WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT – FSM’s CD is great. Let’s hope they continue the string of his comedy music: TRADING PLACES, AIPRPLANE!, ANIMAL HOUSE, etc. I’m on the lookout for it now….
