GuestWell, I did what E suggested in the last post, and visited richardelfman.com. I wasn’t ther for 5 seconds ’till I noticed a big ol’ link talking about Forbidden Zone being re-released in theaters. This caused a rush of excitement through my veins, until I read the cities it was playing in.
It does me no good, but to those of you it may:

GuestHmmm. .. . Maybe I will be able to make the L.A. showing. .. . That is if me parents will let me. They think my interests are very. .. . strange, and they’ve never seen the movie. Hey, thanks for putting the link up, though, it may finally give me something to DO this April. ^^

GuestI’m driving to see the summer showing in Denver. It’s a 16-hour roundtrip jaunt, but my job is from August – May, so I’ll be needing a few amusements this summer.

GuestYa know….L.A. isn’t too far from Las Vegas, and since the L.A. showing will actually have Richard Elfman in attendance, I think a road trip is in order….

GuestHm. Midnight screening . . . it’s not often that I can do these things because I get up between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning, but unless something comes up, I’ll be at the LA showing. And I think I have a friend weird enough to appreciate something like this.
E.B. Pip, until last August I lived just south of Denver, and the Mayan Theatre is probably a pretty good place to see this. It’s no El Capitan (only the greatest theater in the world), but it is pretty nifty inside. I saw The Blair Witch Project there when I was about 14, and the whole time I was way more freaked out by the theater than the movie itself.

GuestHey All!!!! For those thinking you won’t get to see F.Z. on the big screen…don’t give up just yet!!! More dates are being added, so keep checking the site for listings!
)
Also…any of you in L.A. who are wanting to attend, there are only a few sites allowed to do this, but we are giving away passes to the LA show on the 30th! So, if you’re interested, try your luck at either: http://www.ez-entertainment.net, http://www.filmthreat.com or http://www.horror-web.com. We will be doing this for all the cities most likely, but LA is first on the list for the give-a-ways. The others will soon follow when we get closer to the dates.Hope to see you there!!!!!

GuestGood news for Forbidden Zone fans: at a screening of Forbidden Zone I attended in Santa Monica on Friday, someone who was there with Richard Elfman for a Q&A after the film said the DVD for Forbidden Zone is scheduled for release on August 31st, 2004. He said the DVD is to include many extras, including footage deleted from the original theatrical version.

GuestI would love to bring this up to Alaska. I’m sure the college here could support the movie enough.
