Hi ! Does anybody know, what orchestras performed Elfman works ?
I would be grateful for any informations. Of course everybody knows Batman
was played by S of LO but what with Nightbreed or Edward … ?many of danny’s works are performed by ensembles, that are made up from Union musicians… that is what i know. can anyone give us a little more details?

Danny Elfman usually records in Los Angeles, where the “studio orchestras” are comprised of union musicians who are assembled by contractors.
Elfan’s NOVOCAINE contributions (along with all of Steve Bartek’s score for NOVOCAINE) and “March of The Dead” from ARMY OF DARKNESS were recorded by non-union musicians in Seattle.
BATMAN, BLACK BEAUTY and SLEEPY HOLLOW are the only scores he has recorded outside of the United States.
