Well… I live in Switzerland, and I always have to wait two weeks to get a cd… and, somehow, I just found the big fish cd today, in my local store.
The music is just amazing, but there are only 40minutes of score on the cd.
It’s a very intresting score. It reminds me of various other elfman works.
One theme sounds very “Scissorhand-ish”, and another is more “simple plan-ish”. Some are very “Midnight run-ish” too… I also hear some Sommersby orchestrations in it.It really is a big surprise… I still don’t understand why I got the cd so early. Wasn’t it supposed to be released on december 23rd????

I got mine this morning too (i live in the states). I ordered mine from Sony though. I’ve only listened to it once, but it’s a really nice score overall. anyway…i just had to brag too
Well, I listen to it all the time, but I’m a little disappointed about one thing. The main theme, as you hear it on the first page of the web site, is not in the cd. There’s a slower version in the main titles, but it’s not the one you hear on the web site…
Too bad…
I’ll get mine monday but won’t listen to it until wednesday !dude…the main theme in the website is just a faster version of that slow theme you’re talking about. The web site spun it up to be faster paced for some damn reason…but it’s the same main title. When i realized that, i said something like “Oh ok…it did sound like chipmunk music.”

Oh man, you’re so right!!! The main titles are really the same. Now that I know it, I can’t understand how I didn’t notice that before…
The fast “Chipmunk music” does sound cool though…I usually hold down the fast forward button on quicktime to listen to tracks sped faster, it usually gives it a nice variation then on the normal speed…
