GuestHas anyone ever proposed a Nightmare Before Christmas broadway production? I’m trying out for my school’s “grease” but it doesnt please me half as much as just the thought of a theater version of NBC. I would be first in line to audition!!!!!!!!!!

GuestPersonally, I think a stage version of The Nightmare Before Christmas would suck. The music would be just as brilliant, but it just wouldn’t add up without the visuals of the film, which can’t be reproduced on stage.
But, I really don’t like anything on stage (not that good stuff hasn’t been written for stage, but it could be even better on film), so I guess that’s kind of a bias.

GuestI’ve heard rumors about that, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. I agree with BartNfink on the visuals- I really can’t picture really people pulling off the characters’ appearances. How would they do Jack? He’s far too thin to be played by an actor. Besides, hearing anyone but Danny singing Jack’s voice would just be wrong, and I hate when people lip sync live performances. So I guess maybe I’m biased too.
