Come on man, you can do better than that.

Let us know when you have that track done.

I quess this is as good a thread to post this.

    http://home.comcast.net/~natrebo/ApePlanet.mp3

It was a project I did a year ago. I took the Planet of the Apes CD and sampled it to create a soundfont. My full entention was to create a few pieces from this Soundtrack’s soundfont, then move on to another one, but I’ve been way to busy for that.

I also know that some other people on this MB have created soundfonts – are you willing to share them?

No need to yell, pal. I’m sure Crap wasn’t referring to your “pretty amazing musical experiment”, but to this dull back_cover.jpg thing.

Again: Let us know when you have that track done.

SleepyHello, I hope the reason you are laughing is not because of Mike Post. I am a huge fan of Post, his work has revolutionized and continues to revolutionize television music, not to mention the fact of how little time he has to work on his scores and how many of them he has to produce at a time. His best work: the theme from N.Y.P.D. Blue, easily one of the greatest television themes ever (especially if you get a change to hear the full 3 minute version with the choir parts, powerful stuff).

The beginning of Nat’s cue sounded a lot like N.Y.P.D. Blue, which is why I immediatly thought of Mike Post.

My favorite Mike Post theme will always be A-Team, but I’m really fond of the simplistic nature of his Law&Order theme.
