Hulk Old Soundtrack

Ive been an Elfman fan my whole life. So, I was surprised when I saw a version of the Hulk that had only the main titles from Elfman and the rest did not sound like Elfman at all. Im in Iraq so mind you I was disappointed. I have not seen the real movie yet but what I saw and heard was nothing but dull. I believe the studio knew exactly what it was doing when it hired the best. The movie lacked action and a super comic book feel without his score. Recently my wife mailed me a copy of the soundtrack. I was amazed at how different the music sounded and how it made the movie come alive. Elfman deserves credit for saving a rather dull film.

I think that you are talking about the screening copy with the “temp score” which basically only had the synth of Elfman’s score on the Main Titles and the rest was a bunch of stuff just kinda thrown in there for the time being until Elfman got his score recorded and such. I heard about someone else who saw that copy so I think I am not too far off track. Just be happy because you got to hear Elfman’s synths as he wrote it!!!
