GuestIve been an Elfman fan my whole life. So, I was surprised when I saw a version of the Hulk that had only the main titles from Elfman and the rest did not sound like Elfman at all. Im in Iraq so mind you I was disappointed. I have not seen the real movie yet but what I saw and heard was nothing but dull. I believe the studio knew exactly what it was doing when it hired the best. The movie lacked action and a super comic book feel without his score. Recently my wife mailed me a copy of the soundtrack. I was amazed at how different the music sounded and how it made the movie come alive. Elfman deserves credit for saving a rather dull film.
Thanks,

GuestI think that you are talking about the screening copy with the “temp score” which basically only had the synth of Elfman’s score on the Main Titles and the rest was a bunch of stuff just kinda thrown in there for the time being until Elfman got his score recorded and such. I heard about someone else who saw that copy so I think I am not too far off track. Just be happy because you got to hear Elfman’s synths as he wrote it!!!
Knight (Who would still REALLY like to hear a copy of those main titles)
