As for my part, i’m really looking forward for the farewell dvd…
I want it, i want it now !I bought my first a few months ago. It was the Best o Boingo. Good stuff. Wild Sex is one of my favorite songs.
Best O’ Boingo was the first one I bought too.
Wild Sex is great; Not My Slave, Only A Lad, Just Another Day and Goodbye-Goodbye are some of my favorites from that album. Actually, I don’t really listen to it anymore since I have all the albums the songs originally came from, but it’s a great place to start.That’s the first one I got, as well. (Mostly because it was the only one I found around here, at first). I’ve always been partial to Just Another Day, what with it being a good description of a dream and such. And Out of Control’s another great one, too. It’s a good introduction to Boingo–and then it hits you: you must buy more!
Mine was Only a Lad, way, wwwwaaaayyy back in the early 80’s.
I started with Best O’Boingo in 1996. How original !
It took me some time to get hooked up at first, and then, by the time I listened to No One Lives Forever, I said to myself : “Wow”. And the following weeks I started what is now known as the Holy Hunt for all other Boingo albums I had yet to purchase.And I am now proud to declare that I completed the Holy Hunt : I own all albums but the Farewell compilation – but I’ve got the VHS – or the other compilations like ‘Alive’ or ‘Anthology’ which wouldn’t add much.

My new quest is to collect any and all rare Boingo songs.it is soooo hard to find Boingo CD’s AND Elfman CD’s by me. I have to special order EVERYTHING. Not to mention that the record store by me takes forever to order stuff … stupid Sam Goody … grr

My first was “Boi-Ngo” then I bought “Boingo”–big change in sound. Loved “Insanity” instantly. And “Lost Like This.” Also good.
