danny elfman has received his fourth oscar nomination for “milk!”
his contenders are…
alexandre desplat’s “the curious case of benjamin button”
james newton howard’s “defiance”
a.r. rahman’s “slumdog millionaire”

Milk is a fantastic, mature, multi-layered score (listening to it now in honor, of course) and am glad it got the nod. 2008 was indeed a great year for Danny, and 2009 is looking really good too.
