I just got the Big Fish soundtrack and, of course, I love it. But, as I’ve only seen the movie once, I’m trying to remember: what was the song that Jenny was playing on the piano in the movie? Was it an existing piece, or an Elfman composition (is it “Jenny’s Theme”)?
It is Jenny’s theme. This was probably one of the last scenes shot, since they had the score and so she could learn it.
Wow… that’s what I was hoping. I remember watching the movie and, at that point, thinking that it was a really beautiful piano piece. Too bad that particular version (just piano) isn’t on the CD.

i believe she’s playing a version of “jenny’s theme” on the piano, which is found on the soundtrack. listen closely – i think that’s what it is.
