I agree. I think my favorite album is probably the one they did in 1990: Dark At The End Of The Tunnel. I really like the live album too, though.
Mullin – nice to have a fellow “Dark…” fan! My current personal favorite is “When the Lights Go Out.”

‘When The Lights Go Out’ is awesome, but I think ‘Flesh N’ Blood’ is my favorite song on the album. ‘Long Breakdown’ and ‘Is This’ are excellent as well. The only song on the album that I really cannot stand is ‘Out Of Control.’ I just can’t listen to it without thinking of Tony Danza. Maybe that’s something I should see a therapist about… I mean, the film it was written for — SHE’S OUT OF CONTROLL — isn’t exactly an enduring classic, and in fact, I don’t think I even really saw it, but still… Tony Danza…
ah…. GOOD to see that some people like the “Dark at the end…” album…
I love it. It’s my favourite, and I just don’t understand why EVERYONE just keep saying that its their worst album…
Anyway, I agree with John, “Is this” is just fantastic. About “Out of control”, I used to love that song but I had heard it too much. Last week, a friend of mine just gave me the 12inch single version of it, with all the remixes, and man, that gave the song a new life!!!!! AMAZING!!!Eric
Out of Control is my absolute fave. I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! Oh yeah, I heard Violent Love for the first time last night. It’s brill! Just goes to show how…what’s the word? You know what I mean. It’s amazing how he can change his style.
Eh, “Out of Control” is the closest thing I’ve got to fatherly advice and such, so I dig it. My favorite song on the album varies from time to time–as of late, it’s “Skin”, because it’s all eerie and such. Yeah, that’s right. I’m in an eerie mood….
I love DATEOTT, but I can’t say it’s my favorite album, because they’re all my favorite.
My favorite song on the album varies too…but at the moment I’d have to say Long Breakdown, which is one of my favorite Boingo songs in general. The guitar solo at the end is so haunting and gorgeous. This may sound weird, but somehow the very last part where it starts to fade reminds me of a mirror shattering. I also love Glory Be. The beginning of that song is so wonderful with the metal percussion beat (I don’t know what instrument they used, so forgive me if I sound like an ignoramous), and then it speeds up and Danny comes in with the vocals- it gives me chills.
