The weirdest thing just happened…
I was on the message board and had the TV turned to Craig Kilborn (which I seldom watch). I left it on because he was interviewing Katie Segal, who I rarely see now (but I hear her in ‘Futurama’, because ‘Married with Children’ is off the air, and she used to be a singer… (breath) well, she was talking about how she performed in the 80’s on the same stage as “Oingo Boingo who was Danny Elfman’s old band” – that’s exactly what she said.
I thought that was weird, and kind of comforting.

That’s too hip! Always knew I liked Katie Segal…(actually, I’m beginning to enjoy Married w/Children even moreso than Frasier, which I have a hard time replacing. Actually MWC is second to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network…).
-E (does anybody else think that Reducto on “Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law” sounds strangely similar to David Hyde-Pierce – aka Niles Crane on Frasier? Hm…do you suppose that Danny, on “The Family Man” commentary, sounds like David Hyde-Pierce? I”m beginning to think there’s a correlation. Note: I really do enjoy Niles Crane/David Hyde-Pierce, so in case anybody’s wondering, that’s not meant as a slam on Danny…).
I am glad someone is talking about Danny, though I wish it were someone with a bigger name… In any case, I am so shocked and happy about this here people: We all love film music, and we all love Danny’s music. This proves to me that film music is ALIVE in a big way, and I thank all of you for posting, for without others, we would think we are all crazy for liking this stuff (though I am quite crazy in any case). I just wish we all could do more for Mr. Elfman…he has brought me so much inspiration, and has totally changed my outlook on life. Oh, damnit, I’m gonna get mushy. So, keep posting, because the ones like I are in desperate need of it, and I thank you all again (although no one will probably read this post).
