GuestO.K.,
so I had this English Honors teacher my sophomore year, Mrs. Carpenter. She was pretty cool… but in the 80s she worked on a television show for a local T.V. station. She actually had an interview with DANNY ELFMAN on an old tape along with Pierce Brosnan and some olympic star and a few other people. Well anyway… I think this summer I’m going to ask her for a copy of that tape. I mean, it is priceless! I would be happy to try and convert it onto some computer software then try to get it on here so a few of you people can see it… that is, if I ever get a hold of it. What do you all think? Would it be worth the tiring process of getting it onto the computer for you all to see it?

GuestSuch a video clip would be fascinating to see. What *I’m* intrigued by are the hours of airchecks from live gigs by the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, circa 1977 and 1978. (I saw some cassettes of same at KALX Berkeley some dozen years ago.) But yeah, see if your teacher can spool off a dub of that early bit of press, if it’s not too much to ask. I think a lot of visitors to the site would enjoy it.
