i love the music on nightmare before christmas and was wondering if anyone has ideas as the inspiration on the music comes from? i would like to buy cd’s with that style of music, the accordian, and stand up bass (very traditional style). any help would be welcomed, thanks.

There’s some Prokofiev and Stravinsky influence in the score’s orchestration, also.
