Sorry this isn’t really related, but I had a question. Is it possible to record over a videotape with a movie on it? Is there anyway to tweak it? I put it in, and tried recording over it, but it just ejected, so is there any way to override it? Thanx.
I’m assuming you’re using a pre-recorded cassette here (i.e. you bought or acquired a movie on tape from somewhere or other).
There should be a hollow square at the left hand side of the cassette – put some plain old regular scotch/invisible tape over that square, and you should be in business. If you’re using a blank video tape, there will be a plastic tab covering the square hole, which will provide the same function as the scotch tape.
