For anyone who reads this in time, on the Jimmy Kimmel show right now, the JK band is playing Oingo Boingo songs. I heard “Only A Lad” and another one who’s title escapes my memory. I don’t usually watch this show, so I don’t know if a former Boingo member is part of their band. If you know, let us all know. I will continue to watch in case a reason is given (or if I recognize any of the band members).

P.S. the next song on the next commercial break wasn’t a Boingo song though.

Jimmy Kimmel…as in “The Man Show” star? Oingo Boingo songs = fantastic. Kimmel’s new talk show = slightly amusing. The Man Show = weirdly funny, considering that I’m not a guy.

Well, now we know what Nat watches in the evenings ;-) All in good fun.

I heard ’em play Only A Lad a while ago, too…pretty nifty. Kimmel’s show is kind of funnny, and I probably watch it more than I should (mostly because occasional correspondent Andy Milonakis is a regular on another board I frequent), but I dunno about the Man Show. It’s kind of like a half-hour version of Maxim magazine, but without as much humourous content…

Yeah, I feel pretty weird in NOT thinking it’s the most revolting show on earth. To clarify my earlier statement: it’s funny in a “those cannot POSSIBLY be real” sort of way.

I have to admit, I did laugh at that show once, when Corrola made a “Deliverance” reference about the group of hicks that were on camera at the time.

Oh yeah, um, Elfman rules! There we go, back on topic.
