GuestJust a suggestion: I like this site, but I suggest changing the color of the links from dark blue to something a little easier to read. Maybe powder blue. I have to put my face right up next to my screen to figure out where the links are going and then I’m paranoid about killing my eyes. Just a thought.

GuestI can see them most of the time, but sometimes I can’t.. And when I can’t I usually just highlight it and I can see it fine.

GuestI have to agree. The darkness of the blue letters drives me up the wall! Since I’m using a monitor used for graphic design, everything is teen-tiny already, and then the blue sort of blends into the black. Frustrating.

GuestI’d like to put my vote in for keeping the color scheme. I love how most of the things on this site are one particular color, even the pictures. It’s really artistic and, goddarnit, it’s a cool looking site! The dark blue it just perfect for the whole feel of what Elfman’s all about. I’ve never had trouble seeing things. Can anyone back me up or are we all looking to control how Ryan does things around here? Let’s post things about Elfman. Not criticisms about the website.

GuestPish! If you’re gonna change the color to anything, how ’bout red?

GuestI don’t have any trouble seeing things, and like the artisticness of it, too. But there are differen’t computers with different monitors, different color schemes, different brightness maximums, and different resolutions. I don’t know what the solution would be (a black and white version of every page? sounds like a lot of work) but it would be a considerate thing to… consider…it….. consider-it….

GuestBrightening the text is one of a few things that will happen… Eventually. Time is the enemy here people!

GuestRyan. That Totally Rocks!
Yes, Knight, but it’s not Music for Dim People.

GuestHey, I just think that Ryan was following the Elfman example:
Question: Why is your music always so dark?
Elfman: Because light hurts my eyes.
Knight (So THERE!)

GuestYou know, I find that wearing fuzzy pink earmuffs, drinking pineapple smoothies and reading the liner notes of MFADT Vol. 2 at 4 a.m. helps to brighten the blue links. Try it, you might be surprised! (Then again, you might ALSO have the notion to request the MacGyver mullet the next time you get a haircut…)
Okay, okay, I found it in the Handbook for the Recently Deceased! It’s not even MY idea…
