OK. What are the bell-sounding instruments that Danny is using throughout this score? One specific place that they are very audible is on the track “finale” at around 4:45. I really want to know so I can use that instrument on my next score.

I don’t know a thing about instruments. But I think Danny has taken a major liking to those bells; I heard them scattered here in there in the Spider-Man 2 score (one prominent one is right before the alley transformation, but it’s in the movie and not on the CD).
I tried to listen to your music but it wouldn’t play…how do I make it work? I’m always interested in hearing work from new composers.
shoot. that’s annoying that it’s not working. there should actually be mp3s available for download there…. if the player is not working then click the “download” button below the songs. If the download link isn’t even showing up then I guess myspace is just really bad and you can’t hear my songs. Hopefully I’ll get a real website some day but not until I either have time to design myself a good one or money to pay someone to make it.
It sounds to me like some sort of large, vibraphone-like instrument. It could just be the particular mallets they used or a pedal technique. I don’t know, I’m a brass player.
i believe they’re tubular bells… if there not then i would agree with the vibraphone theory

Well, there is alot of things going on. You have a guitar picking some harmonics, you have a vibraphone going, and a heavily processed piano, but I think what you are talking about are just some samples of those things that some people have outside their door…like wind chimes but they are bells…can’t remember what they are called…
