ParticipantOkay, not over yet, but here’s some of my commentary…
Jan Kazsmerick won the Oscar for Best Score. Finding Neverland was the only nominated score I hadn’t heard yet, so it disappointed me (plus I was rooting for Debney’s Passion score). I’ve heard from many that the Finding Neverland score is pretty good, so I guess congrats to him.
Spider-Man 2 won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects! Hooray! Now usually, the pit orchestra plays a portion of the winning film’s score, but in this case, they played “Hero”–from the first movie! Why was there no Spidey music?! Is it because the Academy is so opposed to Danny?
One more award possible for Spider-Man 2 as of now…good luck to them!

ParticipantI still can’t believe they snubbed Scorsese AGAIN over Clint Eastwood’s Lifetime movie of the week sapfest.
F**k you, Academy!!

ParticipantHonestly, I don’t give a crap who wins what anymore. That was one reason why I didn’t watch it. The other reason was Chris Rock. He’s one unfunny dude.
