Wow! Rock really isn’t my thing normally, but this band is doing for me what i wish Radiohead did for me… it’s amazing! I’ve signed up, to download ALL of their tracks. Wonderful stuff, Thomas. Thanks!

SLEEPY – It’s kinda hard to explain. It’s something I get when I watch a movie like Edward. It’s a kind of Melancholy feeling. I often get it late at night. I feel very at peace with myself and everything around me when I get this feeling. I can’t descrine it, but I like it when I feel it. It’s something Radiohead almost did for me. The closest they ever got was the vocal chord section in the second half of Paranoid Android, for those who know their Radiohead.

This is pretty good stuff. I can definately hear some Elfman in the wonderful music box-like melodies…using a well-developed music box-like melody for a song is quite unique for a rock group. The lyrics are good as well. It’s sort of, Nightmare Before Christmas meets The Beatles (and definately some Smashing Pumpkins). I’d really love it if Elfman were singing these songs though, I think his voice would match most of the songs a little closer, not to criticize the lead singer’s voice, which is of course good :)

J, does it cost money to download the tracks (the webpage is in Swedish, I believe, which I haven’t tampered too much into…though I do speak some German, and there is a fine line between the two {in sound}, I couldn’t decipher most of the webpage).

Anyway, Thomas, thanks for posting about this group. It’s very refreshing.

Radiohead is my favorite band. I know what you mean, though, but I get that with Radiohead. Secret is, you gotta listen to them over and over again, and you gotta be laying down at the time. It works for me. Call me crazy.

Sleepy – Yeah, Radiohead was my favourite band for a bit, too. Then Muse kinda took over. I couldn’t help loving those romantic-stly harmonies, also typical of film music, of course. I think I’ll take your advice, and see what that does for my Radiohead experience!

Dylan – it’s ok, I couldn’t read most of the site either. I speak English and bad Spanish. I only recognised the word which sounded like their English counterparts. Yeah, the whole thing’s free. To download the tracks (once you’re registered and signed in), do a “Save Target As…” on the arrown icon next to the track

I downloaded the lot… time to burrrn!

Yeah, they do joke around quite often. I just wish their drummer would stop playing the same damn licks. They should let me join their band! I’ll teach him… hehehe

I meant it was funny how I was listening to them when I read you talk about them. they’re good, but Radiohead is much better.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I think I generally agree with you. With Radiohead, you can see their development over the years. Radiohead have genuine musical curiousities, which is something I personally believe to be very important. Their exploring what they take an interest in, rather than trying to write songs they think the public would like. Muse, however, remains relatively samey.
