Watched Burton’s Planet of the Apes for the first time in… ages…and had forgotten that they sped up Danny’s music in the intro. Not complaining. I actually love it. Interesting nonetheless. I’m recalling that was done at the very last minute. Prior to the films release there was report about the movies troubled production on Access Hollywood or E! and they did mention Danny having to make last minute adjustments to the music right before the prints shipped out to theaters.

Maybe Descent was watching the movie on PAL? 😉
