John Hughes has passed away at the age of 59.
Tim Burton put Danny Elfman on the map in 1985 with “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.” But, John Hughes during that same year put Oingo Boingo on the map with “Weird Science.” So, here’s to John Hughes, Weird Science, and Oingo Boingo. Hughes is gone, but the movie will live on forever.
