Hi, my name is Taliesin, and the other day I was watching the Black Knight (don’t ask!), and they used Danny Elfman’s Sommersby music for the logo (Regency). No thrills, I know, but since we’re all in the same boat, well, I thought you’d be interested.

Yes That was Sommersby would have been nice if they asked him to do original muusic though
I thought exactly the same thing, no later than yesterday, when I went to see DAREDEVIL. At first I wondered if Danny had suddenly replaced Graeme Revell to do the Daredevil score, but then I realized it was a mere logo music.
The SOMMERSBY sample heard in this case is a rather weird and unappropriate pick, in my opinion, for a logo music. I’d have chosen something brighter from Danny’s stuff. SOMMERSBY, in its context, almost sounds like (magnificient) suicide music…
… Suicide music, however, must be perfectly fitting before a screening of BLACK KNIGHT. Heh.
