GuestIT WAS AWESOME… i don’t know what else to say.. it was burton’s best movie by far.. the dynamic duo do it again! anyone else have any comments that the movie was too good for words

GuestI saw it again, and you tend to catch more about the father-being-the-fish angle, and all his “water-isms.” What puzzled me, though, was his affections for his wife, because he would make HER the fish in his stories, too…That being said, apparently the guy saw himself as a BIG FISH, and needed his son to see that about him, i guess. It was’t so much that he was a “storyteller,” but that he was literally that fabled fish – the one that never gets caught. Man…makes me wonder why i don’t see myself as that horse that always comes into the bar and spices things up…maybe my life would turn around…
..oh and don’t quote me on this stuff, either,because after having seen Return of the King what i saw was that Frodo saved Middle Earth, and for that his reward was to go FAR away to be EXECUTED. This may not be the real reason…so maybe i’m skewed here.January 11, 2004 at 12:34 am #47529Anonymous
