Did anyone else go to the screening of this with Rick Elfman in West Hollywood tonight? It was just me and like, 5 other people but I wonder if anyone from here happened to be there.
Daniel Schweiger emailed me to let folks know on this site, but I got so busy I didn’t get the chance… Now I feel horrible.

Whoops. Happens, I guess. He was there, of course, and he and Richard Elfman shared stories about his de-pantsing and beating. And he genuinely freaked me out when he said that he watches reality shows in hopes that someday somebody really will go postal on one of them.
All in all though, the drive was even more strange. On the way there Hollywood Boulevard was closed down, and there was some big tent with a bunch of camreas around it, and I saw a guy in a giant teddy bear suit walking across the crosswalk. On the way back, I saw a tough looking skinhead-type nonchalantly pee his pants at a gas station and then wash his hand off in the decorative fountain. Geez, don’t you wish you lived here too, Ryan?
