GuestJust to tell you of a neat experience if you get a chance….I was driving back from New York the other day and hopped off the highway to go see the real Sleepy Hollow. It is a small village but one can see why Irving was so inspired to write about it because it’s flat out creepy. They have these amazing trees surrounding a beautiful scary cemetary. What hightened the experiece was blaring Danny’s Score as I wandered about. Go when it’s cold, near dark, and when there’s no one there.

Guestyeah…you shoulda seen the cop cars, they have the Headless Horseman on the badge emblem on the doors. And by the way – passing right by the cemetery/church there’s that main highway that turns into a regular flat bridge?— That’s supposedly the original bridge RLS wrote about, they just modernized it.
And then check THIS out – you go down about a block and half past the church and historical area? You have the Latino section of town. No kidding…Modernization can really suck…January 7, 2004 at 7:28 pm #47472Anonymous
