I know Danny didn’t even come close to touching this project, but who else thinks that the theme for “Something’s Gotta Give” is so beautiful and so hummable that its annoying? lol

I love it! I hum it all day long. I wish Sony would wise up and give a proper release to such a beautiful score. Good thing they’re giving us a good representation of the Spider-Man 2 score, so I hear from people on the message boards.

On the “Something’s Gotta Give” soundtrack, theres ONE song by Zimmer. ONE! Its like a travesty, considering hes such a talented composer. I’m desperately looking for a way to rip the audio off the DVD, even though it doesn’t have an isolated score track. Anybody have any suggestions?

Danny actually did get close to this project! In fact, he wrote all the music! It’s a little known fact, but he has actually been writting all the music to every movie produced in the USA since 1989.

I think Zimmer is better on As Good As It Gets. S.G.G. just sounds like a rip-off to me. It’s still good though. His best work (that i’ve heard) is on The Thin Red Line.

i have no idea how you could rip the music track off the DVD unless you have a friend with a recording studio. I think they can divide up the audio tracks with certain equipment. I’m not possitive on what the software is though.

Damn. My brother goes to a recording studio because hes a musician but I’ve never gone with him and I think it would be rude to just go and say “Hey can you rip the score off of this DVD for me real quick? That would be great, thanks!” lol

DVD Audio Ripper by ImToo –

Can get it and save it to MP3 -Don’t need a recording studio, just a decent machine with a DVD rom drive.

I don’t have a DVD rom drive. I read something about plugging in the audio output from the DVD player to the computers input and then ripping it with some program. Would that work?
