Hello forum –

I’ve been wondering for a while if there’s anyone on here who writes… as in plays. And if so I was wondering if these people might like to collaborate with me on a Tim-Burtoney opera/music theatre piece.

I am an Australian composer/singer/actor. My composing influences include Danny (of course), Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein and Sergei Prokofiev.

Well, I write screenplays. But that’s not what you’re looking for, so yet again, another useless post…

Damn… If I had the time, I’d jump at something like this… I Iove this kind of collaborative work. However, I’m also more interested in taking the composer’s position, too, rather than to write the actual script. (…maybe one day).

I write a lot too–but not plays. I’m betting if you searched some writer forums and/or writing workshops, you’re bound to find someone with the sensibilities you’re looking for.

Plus, you can go and scope them out until you find the right someone–figure you can read other people’s stuff, and get a feel for their work and all. Usually, you can tell if someone can write or not, by the first line.
