GuestWhen, WHEN, are “Big Fish” sound clips gonna be posted on here? I can’t find the CD, I can’t go to the movies (condition of my punishment), and I wanna hear some of the music.
I’m watching the Golden Globes. Wow, Jack Nicholson is frickin’ hammered!
Bill Murray just won for “Lost In Translation”.

GuestKudos to Shore. His interview in FSM this month is GREAT! The Rohan Theme does it for me like nothing else these days. The Lord of the Rings scores – all 3 – are absolute classics
(Of course I wasn’t implying that Elfman didn’t do a fine job on Big Fish. Of course he did. It’s just that I’ve been spending a lot more time with Howard lately…you understand, don’t you, Danny?

GuestBig Fish was nominated for best musical or comedy in a motion picture. Big Fish isn’t a comedy, but it sure is musical.

GuestBig Fish is musical.

GuestI thought Big Fish was VERY funny. My wife and I laughed frequently. “Comedy” does not imply that it is NOT imbued with depth and other emotions besides laughter; it just means it’s funny.
It sure wasn’t a drama, so where else could they put it?

GuestLet’s get this straight: BIG FISH is a DRAMA with comedy and musical attributes in it. Those are its secondary genres, but its primary genre is DRAMA. Got that?
