Spider-man 2 is preserved wonderfully on the SCORE as it was meant to be heard

I just got the Spider-man 2 score today in the mail. Awesome stuff folks. I compare it to Star Wars II. Star Wars II was butchered by Lucas’s editors but the CD was top notch stuff overseen by John Williams himself. Spider-man 2 is just like that on CD.

The Best Cue I’ve heard so FAR is “Angry Arms/Rebuilding”. It’s so damn dark. Elfman is best when he writes dark music. It’s just cool. Part of it can be heard on the Doc Ock suite from the VA album (the bass clarinet solo).

You WON’T Be dissapointed folks. Not AT ALL.

Everyone else is saying how its just gonna be a recycle of the first score.
Hello?! Theres a new themes, new action cues, and how in the hell can you recycle an action cue? Yea, that would’ve been great to see the “Final Confrontation” from Spider-Man re-used for the train scene in Spider-Man 2.

Agreed, I managed to the order score and get it a few days early. Spider-Man 2 Main Title track has slight variations from the 1st film’s score but a good one nonetheless. 01-Spider-Man 2 Main Title, 10-Train/Appreciation, 12-Armageddon/A Really Big Web!, 14-At Long Last, Love are the tracks among my favorites. I have to tip off my hat to Sony for releasing a great sounding score, I played it back on my digital receiver and ran it on the DTS Neo:Music preset and you can hear every instrument played perfectly. As for the Rain Drops track, I play it back everynow and then for humor.

damn did you guys order off of Sony? And are you in the US? Sony is pissing me off already…their orders are always seemingly “In Progress.” If you already got it through Sony drop me a line and give me some inside info, because i really don’t know about it. And hey, Dawg Man – Angry Arms is when he’s talking to himself in the lab right? if so, then yeah, that’s a good cue…kinda reminds me of the Penguin’s theme back in 92.

I think It’s that scene where he’s talking to his arms in the ruined lab, yes. IT’s the music with all the quiet strings and high ethereal harmonics. The strings work is very nice.

I love that music! That music completely aids the image so flawlessly. Few composers could have done what Elfman did there.
