Why didn’t they put Bruce Cambell’s charaterThe wrestling announcer in the city montage when people were dissscusing spider man’s arrival he could have said something like'” hey, I practally invented spider man. Huh, he wanted – WANTED to be called ha, the human spider. Go figure, if he makes any pay tell em to call me eh?”
Bit of a continuity problem there, I’m afraid. The wrestling organization had to have his name, so it would have been easy to figure out that he was Peter Parker. They wouldn’t have had Bruce come in again because they hope that we will forget about his public origin.
No, no… here’s what happened: when the burglar stole the money from the wrestling organization, what we DIDN’T see is that he also stole all of the paperwork indicating that the Amazing Spider-Man was Peter Parker. Pretty convenient, eh?
That, and well, Bruce is rather fantastic–so it kinda woulda took away from the main characters and all. I was just excited he was in it at all. And, he did have a vital role. A small one, but vital, nonetheless.
