Based on recent rumors, the Spider-man DVD will be released sometime in October or November and its going to be great

Here is an excerpt from one of them: “Spider-Man should see its DVD release this October, that according to Peter Cuneo CEO of Marvel Entertainment. The planned 2-disc set will contain an audio commentary from director Sam Raimi, loads of behind-the-scenes footage, SFX featurettes, a gag reel and more (it’s unlikely the World Trade Center teaser trailer will be included). And as for deleted scenes, rumor has it there aren’t any – director Raimi is said to have included nearly all scripted scenes in the film. Additionally, the DVD and VHS release will come packaged with an interactive eTagz CD-ROM. The CD-ROM, according to an official press release, will provide Spider-Man outtakes and additional content (including interviews) not seen on the DVD or VHS. The disc may also include new MP3 songs, soundtrack bits, interactive games for kids and adults, movie trailers and back stage pass contests for upcoming movies and promotions. The catch here is that the CD-ROM will also download eTagz software onto the consumers’ desktop providing a “24/7 mini-portal, mini-Web site, mini-brochure, mini-bulletin board and mini-communications center, all wrapped into one. This provides the advertisers residual advertising even when the eTagz is not being played and can be implemented for their entire existing database.” Once again, look for Columbia to release Spider-Man this October.”
