GuestYeah I know it’s a bit late in fact 2 years late to make a topic such as this but this has been troubling me for the past week or so. After I ordered the Spidey 2 score a couple weeks ago (great score by the way), a few online buddies of mine have been telling me that I should pick up the 1st film’s score as well. For $14 it’s pretty much a steal but this is where it gets a little hazy. I was told that the U.S. version only contains 15 tracks and nothing more while another version has 2 bonus tracks (Not exactly sure which version exactly). An extended version of “farewell” & “main title”. Can anyone out there give some weight to this because I have no trouble purchasing the score but if I can get 2 extra tracks which appears to be limited then I’ll go for that.

GuestI never heard of such a version but it probably contains the “Main Titles” and “Farewell” tracks from the SONGS cd that are a little bit longer but nothing really to get excited about. Anyway, that cd doesn’t sound legal to me and is more a swindle that an rarity…

Exactly. The version of “Farewell” on the “music from and inspired by” soundtrack is a minute and like 20 seconds longer than that of the score album version. The “Main Title” on the “inspired by” is 12 seconds longer but your not missing much. Its just the music finally toning down to make way for the movie’s beginning.
