Just a quick question – there seems to be confusion about when the Spidey2 Score is to be released.
Is it the 27th or the 20th of this month? Can anyone clarify?
Is it different in the U.K than is in America?
it seems to be the 27th in the states.
27th in the States (and presumably in the UK, but they don’t bother telling us anything here), but in mainland Europe it’s already released. I got mine today via amazon.de. I expect, though, that with postage cost and international delay, it’s not worth you doing similar if you’re across the Atlantic. Up to you, I guess.
Ah yes. This is the bit where I poke my tongue out and sing-song “nah-nah” in self-satisfied tones… :oP Wow, haven’t done that since they started releasing Buffy on DVD.

Why is it that soundtrack fans are never treated with as much regard in the U.K as they are elsehwere in the world?
Who knows?
If europe is seeing an early release, then it sounds to me that they’re getting the regard, here. And us Americanos are getting the S.E.O.T.S.
I think you’ll probably find that whenever Europe wins out on early releases of soundtracks and DVDs it’s due to a hold-up on the American front rather than preferential treatment. I have no idea why Spidy2 sped to Europe first (perhaps someone typoed the date in a memo to a European distributor…), but Buffy’s success was due to the catfight-style network distribution system in the US that held up the copyright clearance for DVD release.
