For those of you familiar with Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” books, the final three installments will be out between this September and Winter next year. It is no real difficulty to assume we’ll see a movie (or movie series) soon there after.
For those of you unfamiliar, the first in the series even preceeds King’s first commercial success “Carrie”. The plot involves a man named Roland (The Last Gunslinger) who is pursuing a mysterious man in black across a hellish Tim Burton-esque landscape in a world that mirrors our own.
The style of these books, the detail put into this series, is so damn strange that I just needed to bring it up in comparison with TIM BURTON. I would not be suprised at ALL if the movie (there will be one… THERE HAS TO BE!) ends up being helmed by him. Then we’d get another “Stephen King” score by Danny.

Haven’t read the books so I don’t know if it is in that Dark “Burton” type of genre, but hey, whatever Tim chooses to do, I will always go see, he has not let me down so far (not to mention that he usually has Danny score his work).

that would be a great combination. I can see it now, another great reason to go to the cinema. If it happens of course!
Danny and King again but this time King fantasy score!!! Deloris Claborone would love too see Danny and Stephen again like that too!!
