Guesthorrible movie aside, has anyone listened to jerry goldsmiths score for it? i was listening to it last night while i was falling asleep and it somehow worked itself into my dream, i could see a ghostly hand coming out of the speakers, kind of poltergiestish,…..pretty creepy, but still cool, anyone else have a similar expiriance with a score while they were falling asleep?

GuestThe 2nd movement of Meridith Wilson’s Symphony No. 2 – a wonderful play on a set of chords that had me dreaming overtime last night.

GuestA year ago I had the misfortune to listen to SLEEPY HOLLOW while going to bed. Being very tired, I managed to fall asleep half through the score… and I woke up the following morning with one of the horrible headache I’ve ever had.
Of course I usually appreciate SLEEPY HOLLOW a lot, but this soundtrack is somehow too action-packed to fill your typical sleepy night.

GuestI have all kinds of creepy dreams and such–some I remember, others I don’t. They usually don’t involve soundtracks, though….most of my cues come from cheesy horror flicks.
(I’ve always talked to the monsters under my bed. But I do find aliens and Elvis and Michael Jackson scary)!

GuestPoor a puddle of ketchup on the table and lean forward so you can hear it whisper riddles into your ear. Solve the riddles, and your nightmares shall vanish into a sea of human hair and pumkin pie.

GuestWhat if you’re scared of human hair and pumkin pie? (There’s a downfall to damn near every method)….

GuestThen I’d assume you were bald and eat whispering ketchup instead of pumpkin pie.

GuestThe Omen is also a fun score to fall asleep to.

GuestHey now–it’s not me who’s afraid of the above! But I do have a very odd friend….like when we saw The Ring she was creeped out not by the corpse of a wet kid–but because the kid’s hair was wet, and what she’d call “nasty!” (Yes I know–my friends are almost as odd as me)….

GuestHey, I’m used to corpses – my granny owns a funeral home, after all. Ah yes, the childhood afternoons spent in the funeral chapel…oh, so THAT’S the reason I ended up like this! Well, *that’s* a relief! *smirk* However, my uncles – who are funeral directors – always make ’em look nice, not all wet and decaying *shudder*
-E (who has only good memories of funeral homes)
