GuestWell guys, I’m not going to be promoting my site here anymore. I’ve got some news though that you might find interesting.
Best Buy has listed the HULK (SCORE CD) as due for release on June 17th. That will give, after the 15th of this month (when the sessions wrap), a few weeks for mixing, design and manufacturing.

GuestWhat I meant was, hopefully it’ll be worth buying so I won’t have to download the whole thing off the internet!

I’m joking, of course. It’ll most likely great!

GuestI don’t know. MIIB was a pretty big let down to me. I just hope he brings something new with this score and it’s not just a Spiderman clone.

GuestUm…put in MIIB and listen to “The Light”.

Guestone track, pretty good but nowhere near as good as the original MIB’s finale track, an underrated piece IMHO, ranks rite under edward and batman’s finales, booya

GuestMIB underrated?
It was Oscar nominated; least anyone forgets. Also, I found his lounge music in MIIB to be a great change last year from his dramatic scoring (Spider-man and Red Dragon). All the catching and Mickey-Mousing of MIIB made it unique among Danny’s recent projects.
Being a BIG HULK fan I’m GREATly happy for this HUGE bit of news.
Danny has only let me down one time; so his track record with me is phenomenal, so just keep up the good work.

GuestI’d imagine it was proof of life. Well, that’s the only one that I don’t like too much, anyway.

Guest“I don’t know. MIIB was a pretty big let down to me.”
His score was precisely what that film deserved. Besides, the Worm Lounge cues was worth the price of the cd alone.
“I just hope he brings something new with this score and it’s not just a Spiderman clone.”
Why would it sound like Spider-Man?

Guest“Why would it sound like Spider-Man?”
… Now that I think about it, I have no f***n’ clue!
As for MIIB, I’ve never heard the whole soundtrack away from the gawd awful movie. That’s probably why I don’t like it, but I kinda’ doubt it. I can usually pick out really good soundtracks from bad movies. This one just didn’t stand out to me.May 12, 2003 at 5:16 am #45045Anonymous
GuestWell, maybe you should listen to it…….

Guestfor me that is… if there will be two Hulk albums then the score album won’t be released here in Indonesia, just like Spider-Man, but at least it has two Elfman tracks, I bet the hulk song CD won’t have any of the Elfman score X-(
Sigh… so I have to spend $18 buying it on-line instead of $7 buying it here…

GuestGo to the “The Hulk” page on superherohype.com to discover that there will be only one “Hulk” soundtrack, and that is Danny Elfman’s score album. There will be a CD single of some other song not featured on the CD, but it looks like Marvel films knows how to respect film composers.

GuestWho? Elfman? I’d say at this state in his career, he can damn well choose what he wants to do.

GuestGood news!

Can’t wait… can’t waaaaitt… maybe in the mean time we should bash hulk score bashers on the fsm board… I hate them! burn! burnn!!!

GuestHowever, it should be noted that “Spider-man” was one of the most beloved scores of last year according to nearly everyone who works there. The Kaplan brothers even offered their office phone numbers to anyone who claims that the score has no themes so they can sing it for you!
