GuestWhat if the song’s good?
June 4, 2003 at 3:18 pm #45337Anonymous
GuestNope. No clue as to the running time. All I know is what I read on the iclassics page. That’s a good number of tracks, though, and I’d guess that it will be sizeable given that Decca is prone to release hearty amounts of score on their soundtrack releases.

GuestI’m just hoping that the rush to get the score completed doesn’t affect the running time. It happened with Decca on the first “X-Men” score.

GuestThe running time could very well be affected, but who knows? HULK recorded fairly recently and the CD could have been locked while they were still recording. Conversly, though, X2 had a similar amount of time from the scoring sessions to the album, and that release was quite lengthy. Of course, in the case of X2, many great cues were also left off the CD. POTA was on a short time table as well, but I’d call that a great album. I guess we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed as far as HULK goes. Only 13 days left until we know for sure!

GuestThere’s a soundtrack press release at superherohype.com. It manages to defend the choice of Elfman for this project while not once mentioning Mychel Danna.

GuestOne more thing: It is too bad that “The Lake Battle” couldn’t have been called “The Final Confrontation” instead.

GuestWhat if the song’s bad? What if the score’s bad?
June 4, 2003 at 11:48 pm #45344Anonymous
GuestI hope you don’t feel that might be a possibility.
June 5, 2003 at 12:17 am #45345Anonymous
GuestI HIGHLY doubt it will be bad. It is a possiblity, but I think a goblin from Neptune will crawl out of my ass and tell me to suck eggs before Elfman produces a bad score. So, I guess there’s a .000000001% chance of that happening.
June 5, 2003 at 4:26 am #45346Anonymous
GuestIs your percentage more affected by the goblin or the likelihood of his command for the egg-sucking? Just curious.

GuestI have a very good feeling about this score…..

Guestyoohoo i called the store where I usually buy Elfman’s score et he’s going to have it for the 12th…

Guest“Is your percentage more affected by the goblin or the likelihood of his command for the egg-sucking?”
That percentage is for the command of the egg-sucking. That’s just a guess. The percentage of a goblin from Neptune crawling out of my posterior is more like 99.9 … In fact, I’m expecting it. I’ll tell you when it happens.

GuestI bought Hulk score online, and the CD comes out three days before the films release, I hope it comes the day I go see the film. Fingers crossed.
