Anybody knows anything more about Danny Elfman’s involvement on the forthcoming “Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie’s Revenge” videogame? Just read a small text on Amazon.co.uk about the game, and it says something pretty vague about “musical elements” in the game…
The screenshots I’ve seen look unbelievably cool and some of them look like they were directly taken from the movie. Not sure about Jack Skellington slaying enemies like your everyday videogame hero, though

I’d love this game would be an open mission kind of thing, something that would make the player stroll around Halloweentown in a “Grand Theft Auto 3” kind of way (well, maybe without the innocent old lady spankings – haha), completing missions in a non-linear way… That would be truly great, don’t you all agree?Yeah, I guess that would reflect Jack’s impulse nature a bit more than an ‘on-rails’ story! hehe
It’s to bad they didnt make it back when the movie came out, I wanted there to be a game of it back then on like Sega Genisis and Super Nintendo, just a typical platform game would have been fun, like the other Disney games were like Toy Story and Aladdin, but make it with actually stop motion puppets like Skull Monkey’s was, that would have been fun. I mean its cool their making a game of it, but I probably wont ever play it really, maybe once or twice just to say i did, but I dont ever play video games much anymore, I probably should, the last games I’ve played were all Tony Hawk games lol.
