Ok, does anyone have any pets named after our beloved Danny Elfman or Tim Burton? Well, being the film score fanatic that I am an as an aspiring film composer, I couldn’t help naming my newest pet, Tim Burton Danny Elfman Edwards. You all probably think I’m a freak, but I was wondering if anyone else named any of their pets after them?
Don’t get me wrong, I love Danny and Tim, but I don’t think I could name one of my pets after them. Maybe if I had a son I’d name him after one- or both- of them, but not a dog or cat. I don’t think you’re a freak though. I know that some people name pets after those they love and/or admire, but I personally wouldn’t.
I might name a pet after a character from one of Tim’s movies.
If I had a dog I’d call it Abacrombe (sp?), as in the “terrible dog zombie” from Tim Burton’s Vincent.

Nope. My dog’s named Sadie. Sade, for short.
But, her nickname’s “Zero Girl” on account of her being almost all white (except for a bit of brown on her ears). She’s the most important thing in the world, so I’m not gonna mock anyone when it comes to thier pet(s).
She was Batman, last year, for Halloween. If that counts for anything.
Hmm…….well, I named my cat Stimpy, after Ren and Stimpy. I know it doesn’t have to do with Danny Elfman and Tim Burton…..but I named her BEFORE I became obsessed with them. I mean…..I’m so obsessed now, that’s what people know me for. I call my cat “catwoman” sometimes, and I’ll play all my 5 Danny Elfman soundtracks around her, and I think she likes them!
Heh heh….ok, YEAH, I’m a freak. But I’m obsessed with Danny Elfman and Tim Burton. So yeah….one day…..I will probably name my pet after them
