Guestquestion: Has anyone seen the movie TO DIE FOR??? I have Danny Elfman’s MUSIC FOR DARKENED THEATURE v. 2 and the music from the movie sounds very interesting. I was just wondering what the movie is about. FREEWAY sounds different too cuz he plays some pretty heavy guitar stuff for that.

GuestI agree with renting it. Don’t know that it can be described adequately. I enjoyed this film, though, for its interesting-ness.

GuestA very dark comedy set in surburbia. That’s about all there is to it…without giving it away completely, of course.

GuestIt’s a great comment on what “celebrity” is in our pre-Warhol world.

GuestA film, as with most Van Sant movies, that is best first time round. Probably one of Danny’s most inspired and daring scores for the period. Kidman lays down the tracks for future career. Joaquin Phoenix crawls out of the woodwork. Confirms my worst fears about weather girls.

GuestAfter a negative news experience yesterday and another one again today (though not exclusively a result of these past two experiences), my only real thought on news people is that they’re PSYCHO. To Die For is definitely rent-worthy, if not buy-worthy.
