Trio – Concert work with John Powell and Marco Beltrami

Trio, a concert work for solo violin (Sandy Cameron), piano (Irene Kim) and voice (Holly Sedillos), featuring music written by Danny Elfman, Marco Beltrami and John Powell was performed on May 19th of this year.

In an interview near the start of the year, Elfman spoke about needing to finish his parts of this piece. He said they’d likely perform it for family and friends (guessing that’s what this was) and they’d easily be able to record it as it only has three performers and they all have studios. Fingers crossed a label picks it up and we get a release.
